Spotlight Stranglehold

Summery:

It's been three million years since the great war started, and Stranglehold has been losing trust in the Decepticons, he's seeing now that unlike it's infant years that they now have lost their way, however he will stay for the time being, he didn't want to be a traitor.

As he walked down the halls of the Decepticon fortress, he looked at his fellow Decepticons, He could see Swift chatting with her fellow Decepticon Twirl, he could hear the DJD members Helex and Tesaurus torturing prisoners and saw Novastorm talking to her sisters Acidstorm and Ionstorm.

Stranglehold arrived at the command bridge of the fortress, their he was greeted by a not so well liked Decepticon Viper who took him to the base commander General Trannis. Stranglehold gave the daily report on the fortress, before being ordered on guard duty.

Stranglehold got his sword and fusion cannon and guarded the outpost, as he did his patrol he saw Chevalier coming out of a broken shaft and she paused, he was all alone in this sector so he let her escape, he knows that if he was caught he would face action, but at least the young bot shall not be tortured anymore.

With the Autobot still being visible, Stranglehold was called by Viper to defend the fortress from an Autobot attack, as he arrived at the scene he saw General Trannis fighting the Autobot commander Starsaber, but Stranglehold didn’t want to be involved in the fight at all.

He wandered for a bit, he did fight when being attacked, but he meant no harm to anybody. But as he was at the outskirts of the base he saw Fangry and Viper about to execute some Autobot soldiers. Stranglehold wanted them to not kill bots who had surrendered but they didn’t listen.

Before Viper could fire he held his gun and made him point it upwards to save them. Viper called him a traitor and Fangry and Viper engaged him in a fight. Stranglehold easily knock out Fangry and had a great fist fight with Viper as they tried to defeat each other.

But Viper wasn’t a good fighter and eventually was defeated by Stranglehold. Viper asked why he would betray his faction. Stranglehold said they had lost their way, but then Fangry got back up and shot a stun round on Stranglehold, however advancing Autobot forces made them flee.

Stranglehold woke up in a medical bay, but it wasn’t the Decepticon fortresses bay, it seems to be an Autobot one, he looked to his side and saw the Autobot he had allowed to escape Chevalier, The young bot explained to him that she saved him from dying for allowing her to escape.

Stranglehold was thankful for what she did as she left to their command bridge. Then surprisingly Starsaber came to him and thanked him for saving his soldiers. Though Pax didn’t ask Stranglehold, the former Decepticon requested that he switched sides, which Pax accepted. Stranglehold will give being an Autobot a chance.

Notes:

This story was written to explain how Stranglehold had joined the Autobots.

It's fitting that Chevalier saves Stranglehold after he let her escape captivity.

It’s unclear if Starsaber won the siege, though not important to the story, considering that Trannis failed to capture his Autobot base, it’s only fare if Starsaber lost the siege(albeit with both leaders lives intact).

Viper seems to have a high rank in Trannis army, as he’s seen talking directly to Trannis and seems to have some form of authority or equal level of power to Stranglehold.

It seems that Chevalier was tortured by Fangry during this time before the events of the story.
