Spotlight: Redstar
Summery:
Outside the City of Sistex, Redstar was accompanying Helter-Skelter as they travelled towards the Sistex hotspot. Having been assigned to be Helter-Skelter bodyguard by Rei Malignus, Redstar was keen into keeping her safe.
As they entered near the hotspot, Redstar looked as she saw molten Protomatter bubbling in the various lakes of the Hotspot, admiring all the beautiful colours it glowed, even if it’s common knowledge, it’s hard to believe that life can emerge from these fiery pits.
They eventually stopped a less explored part of the Sistex Hotspot, where Catalycon could be observed overseeing Malignus Groundsoldiers collecting sparks and Protomatter in order to be used to create new bots. Helter-Skelter and Catalycon greeting one another and started discussing something about a “Project Ragnarok” as they walked towards the facility where they kept all the sparks they gathered.
They eventually stopped in one part of the facility, where Redstar noticed some rather large and bright Sparks, as well as some Green ones, when asked, Catalycon explained that they were collecting rare types of Sparks in order to use for Project Ragnarok.
Now a bit more curious about what this project Ragnarok was, Redstar asked what this project was. Helter-Skelter explained that they were planning to build a super-sized Cybertronian in order to use as a weapon against the Guardians.
Redstar though such an idea was stupid, as what could a super-size bot do that something like a Starship couldn’t. However she kept her mouth shut, as she didn’t want to get in trouble for saying such things. Redstar then heard blaster fire, as the three of them turned around to see a group of Cybertronians consisting of Downforce, Trax, Zeta, and much to her surprise Xgunner and Deltaseeker attacking the facility.
As Catalycon and some Groundsoldiers went to protect the Sparks present. Helter-Skelter demanded to know who they are. Downforce said that who they were doesn’t matter, only that they’re going to take those special sparks from them for their leader own purposes. Helter-Skelter ordered Catalycon and some of the Groundsoldires to take the special sparks to safety as she started blasting at them, whilst Redstar went to confront the traitors Xgunner and Deltaseeker.
Catalycon and the other Groundsoldiers began to go deeper into the facility with the special sparks, intending to use the emergency space bridge to take them to safety, they were nearly at the space bridge room when somebody blocked their entry.
Before any of them could get time to react, Scree used his teleportation abilities to teleport them to a different part of the facility. He then contacted his employer Nominus, who said that he secured the Special Sparks. Before making a portal in order to take them back to the Autobot main base.
At the same time this was happening, Redstar was fighting Xgunner and Deltaseeker, who were using their superior flying skills to fly circles around her, when Redstar asked why would they betray the Malignus, Detaseeker stated that they and her fellow Autobots were sick of the war, and that under their leader they would bring a new age of peace to Cybertron.
Downforce then got a message from Nominus, who ordered them to retreat. Downforce relayed Nominus order. And much to the confusion of Redstar and the others, the Autobots just retreated. Helter-Skelter ordered some Groudsoldires to follow and apprehend Downforce and co, before calling Catalycon, who regretfully informed her that they were ambushed by a teleporter who stole all of the Special Sparks.
Helter-Skelter was outraged by this, saying that she’ll make sure that whoever was the leader of that group will pay for his/her theft of those sparks, and Redwing transformed back to bot mode, something caught her eye. It was a small glimmer of light emitting from a blast hole left behind by one of their blasters. She proceeded to dig around the glimmer, revealing a Super Spark that wasn’t discovered until now.
Redstar notified her discovery to Helter-Skelter, who was over the moon over the discovery. She ordered two of the Groundsoldires present to prepare to remove it, whilst congratulating Redstar on her find, saying she will be rewarded greatly when they return to Altihex.
Sometime Later at the Autobots main Headquaters, Nominus was also congratulating Scree and Downforce and co on their successful mission into taking all those sparks, saying that they will be quite useful for future projects.
As Nominus gave Scree his payment. Trax asked what projects they were planning to use with said Sparks. Nominus said that he was planning to use them to create unique Autobots in the future, and hopes to use them to further his goals.
