Spotlight Thundersaur

The end has come… for Thundersaur, any day now his spark would fade and he would join the Afterlife. However dying from an illness is what he didn’t expect to happen. Considering his life, he expected to die in the war, or at least in one of his adventures.

He was within the company of his friend Krok, he wished to see one of his old friends to, but most of them died during the golden age. Krok said that he needed to go somewhere and he would return in a few minutes, when gone, Thundersaur started having a memory of the Malignus-Guardian war:

It was during the mid Guardian-Malignus war. He was fighting alongside Terradive, Macerator and Crosscut, under the command of Megadeath as they scouted an area on General Megazarak’s command. While on their scouting mission, the came across a lone guardian.

They captured the enemy soldier, who was a bot who later became Ultra major. Though crosscut wanted to get him executed, Megadeath wanted to take him prisoner. When he interrogated the Guardian, Ultra major said that he was trying to track down a rogue member of the guardians.

Though he thought this was a cover story, Thundersaur realised the full extent of what Ultra major meant when a large jet arrived and blasted the area. It transformed into King Atlas and started destroying the environment, yelling about an “apocalypse-bringer”.

He mostly firing on King Atlas, However he also had to save Terradive from being butchered by King Atlas axe. He still fired more blaster fire at the Guardian sized behemoth, however he stopped when he realised Terradive was greatly injured.

His involvement in the battle ended when he rushed Terradive to the medical centre with the help of the arriving Jetblade, as Ulchtar and the rest of his air force arrived.Their he was treated by Suppressor.

Thundersaur flashed back into reality, he friend Krok came back. He told him that an old friend has come to see him. Thundersaur was happy to see Terradive, Terradive asked how long he has to live for. Thundersaur told him he had little time, but he had something to give him.

He asked Krok if he could open his bag, and he instructed his Decepticon friend to give him the blue case. Terradive opened the case, revealing a Trident. Thundersaur knows how much he loves Tridents, so during his travels he picked this one up from the Vestial Imperium.

Terradive thanked his old friend as he retracted it to put it in his cockpit. Thundersaur reflected of how lucky he was to live so long, he realised his time has come, and he accepted it. As his spark finally faded, his body decolorised as he died that moment.

His time has come!
