Spotlight Botanica

Summery:

Usually, little to no Maximals would be sent this far away from the ship, especially Botanica, who as their main botanist usually stays back at the ship to study the native plant life, However she and Rattrap were sent to study the life on a certain continent on the planet they were on.

They were accompanied by Domitius Major and Dinobot, Usually Dinobot and Rattrap would be in a heated argument, however Botanica was relieved that they hadn’t fought with each other yet. With Dinobot and Domitius Major in particular discussing about the warrior Apelinq.

Botanica took samples of some plants she never seen before on this planet, Rattrap tried to seem interested in the expedition but Botanica could tell he would rather fight some Predacons, which she didn’t mind much but she hoped the Predacons didn’t disturb them today.

Meanwhile, the Predacons known as Manterror, Jetstorm and Sandspear were observing their Maximal foes from afar, Jetstorm wanted to attack them but Manterror wanted them to wait. While they bickered Sandspear noticed something else moving about.

All three Predacons were intrigued by this, Jetstorm wanted to see what the creature was while Manterror wanted to stay on mission. Sandspear ordered Manterror to keep tabs on the Maximals while he and Jetstorm went to investigate this creature.

Rattrap started to feel as if they were being watched, Which caused him to get into an argument with Dinobot, which Botanica had to break up. Domitius Major said they should be on guard in case an enemy dose strike, which the group agreed on.

Sandspear and Jetstorm chase up the creature they saw earlier and hide in an area where they can’t get spotted. On a closer look, the creature they were following was some type of plant monster, Jetstorm wanted to fight it but was dissuaded by Sandspear.

They were noticed by said monster, who tried to find out who was spying on him. Sandspear decided to come out and aske who the creature was. The Being gave no reply as it used it’s vines to attack Sandspear, Jetstorm jumped in but even with her help the monster was still giving a fight.

Botanica and the other Maximals noticed the fighting and went to investigate it, Manterror noticed it too and went to find his fellow Predacons, haven arrived at the scene before the Maximals, he lunged at the plant monster and cut one of its arms off.

When the Maximals arrived at the scene, the three Predacons were in a fierce battle against their plant-like foe, Though considering to just watch, they were flung into the battle when the monster shot some thorns on them, leading them to attack.

Domitius Major got his cannon and shot the plant monster in the chest, which surprisingly  didn’t kill the monster, Dinobot cut of the creature other arm, which it grew back. Rattrap started shooting the monster, which while hunted the monster, still didn’t kill it.

Jetstorm used a flame blaster bolts at the monster, which burned the monster, the Maximals and Predacons still were shooting the monster until it seemed to be burnt to a crisp. Both parties had enough for today, so they decided to leave each other alone.

As they left for the Axalon, Botanica wished that she got a sample of the monster, but Rattrap pointed out that they could had died, as Botanica went into the ground bridge, she wondered what that monster was, and if there are more of its kind.

At the place where the monster was defeated, both of the monsters arms fused together as it regrew its body, once it’s body regenerated fully, it yelled into the night as it was furious of how it let those trespasser defeat him, In such a humiliating way as well.

Another creature approached him, who inquired about the situation. The monster, who name is Tenndryl, explained how the Trespassers tired to get deep to the island, though the second monster, named D’Compose, berated Tenndryl for this, he was worried about the invaders return.

Notes:

This is the first appearance the Inhumanoids in Suleforger Continuity in the form of Tenndryl, though D’compose was supposed to be mentioned in Transformers V Gobots before it was cut out.

Tenndryl seems to be quite powerful considering he didn't die even when his body was burned to a crisp, as well as having great regenerative abilities.
