Spotlight: Steeljaw
On an Unammed Jungle planet, Steeljaw, Clampdown Underbite and Skullcruncher were traversing the jungle as they tried to find the location of a red energy deposit, after Steeljaw brother Phantomjaw told them that Red Energon deposits are rumoured to be on the world.
As Steeljaw was cutting through the Brush, Underbite asked when were they going to reach the deposit. With Steeljaw responding it's only a couple of minutes away, which brought relief to Clampdown, as all the walking has made him tired.
Meanwhile in outer space, Lara Escapes and Lox Xarian were summoned to the bridge, as Hal'gomez overlooked the planet from orbit. Lara noted that this planet would make a great place to set up a base, however Hal'gomez had another idea.
turning on a holoscreen, Hal'gomez explained that whilst they might use this planet as a base, their main purpose of coming here was to test out a new warhead that was developed by the Black Box consortia, hoping to see how powerful it really is.
Lox asked if it was wise to use such a powerful weapon on an organic world, as not only was their an uninhabited moon next to it, but they don't know how powerful said weapon would be, brushing off his concerns. Hal'gomez proceeded to launch the Warhead.
Meanwhile back on the planet, Steeljaw and co managed to reach a part of the jungle that met a cliff face, with a bunch of red crystals. Steeljaw scanners confirmed that it was energon, as the group celebrated, Steeljaw started to daydream.
He thought of how finding Red Energon deposits might elevate his position within the Decepticons, and how this planet would be perfect to be his throneworld. He was already planning where to put his palace when the Warhead hit.
A bright flash of light occurred as the entire island Steeljaw and co was vaporised, however this blast had an unintended side effect, as it ignited the red Energon deposits underneath, causing a larger explosion which completely destroyed the surface of the planet.
Steeljaw woke up in a medical bay, where Phantomjaw was looking at him whilst Scorpulator attended to him and the other. When asked what happened, Phantomjaw said that they seemed to have been caught in a powerful explosion of sorts, though he's unaware of what caused it.
Steeljaw looked to his side, and outside the window, he could see a volcanic world devoid with life, and was shocked to find out this was the same planet where he was on. Which led him to wonder what sort of explosion would be powerful enough to destroy the surface of a planet.
When he asked if there was still any Red Energon left on the planet. Phantomjaw said that his scanners indicates that tons of red Energon from the Mantle was bubbling up to the surface alongside the lava, and that this planet is full of Red Energon.
Steeljaw is happy that their's still tone of Red Energon left on the planet, and hopes that he can capitalise on it in order to grow his power.
