Expedition to Mars
Summery:
On the sandy dunes of Mars, A Decepticon squad consisting of Overcharge, Blackout, Barricade, Hazardtusk and Ozu arrived on the planet via spacebridge, having been ordered by Soundwave to search this area of the planet for potential Energon deposits.
Marking a beacon, Overcharge ordered them to split up between two groups and return to the area within, with Blackout going with Overcharge whilst Blackout went with Ozu and Hazardtusk as the squad went to complete their mission.
Some time passess, And Barricade, Hazardtusk and Ozu were within a gorge, using Energon scanners to try to find energon deposits, whilst searching, Ozu came across a green blob, which unbegntost to him was a dangerous Martian lifeform known as as Squillish.
Unaware of the danger, Ozu proceeded to touch said squillish, which the Squillish responded by lunging at him. Barricade and Hazardtusk proceeded to look in horror as they saw said Squillish envelop him, until Ozu was fully consumed by the green blob.
Meanwhile Overcharge and Blackout were at Olympus Mons, as they traveled, Overcharge noted that she's never seen a volcano this large before, and though that it would make a perfect place to establish a base on.
Blackout was not as impressed, and said that it was unwise to make a base near a volcano, Before Overcharge could reply, she got a message from Barricade, which to her concern she could only hear the muffled screams of her comrade.
Concerned about their safety, Overcharge checked the last known co-ordinates and proceeded to travel there alongside Blackout. They eventually reached the area they were last seen, and proceeding to start searching the area to try and find them.
Their search was initially fruitless, as they seemingly vanished without the trace, however they eventually figured out what happened to them, as Overcharge equipment detected Spark signatures within a large green blob, which so happened to be the Squillish who consumed her teammates.
Realising that their was more prey nearby, the Squillish proceeded to charge at them, Blackout proceeded to start blasting at the creature, only for it to dodge said attacks and land on top of Blackout, with Overcharge watching in horror as it tried to swallow Blackout.
Overcharge proceeded to tried and pull Blackout free from the Sqillish, whilst pulling him out, The Squillish proceeded to try and envelop them both, with Overcharge using her energy fists to try and stop it fully swallowing them whole.
Suddenly, the Squillish began to shake, before losing it's shape as it seems to liquify, releasing Barricade, Ozu and Hazardtusk from the creatures innards, alongside a host of either dead or barely alive Martians and native Martian fauna.
Overcharge turned around to see a small group of Martians, who uses their electro-pikes in stunning said Squillish using electrical current to kill it. said Martians asked if they were alright, with Barricade asking what on Cybertron was the creature that ate him.
The Martians proceeded to explain what a Squillish is, and how they were in the area when they saw it try and eat them and proceeded to come and rescue them, Overcharge proceeded to thank them for coming to their aid.
Overcharge said they should go back to the Nemesis, with everyone else agreeing, before they left however Barricade asked the Martians how they killed the Squillish, with one of them explaining that an electrical charge can kill them.
Overcharge then asked for a spacebridge portal to be opened, as Overcharge and co proceeded to go into the spacebridge back to the Nemesis, whilst the Martians who saved them proceeded to leave the area, as they resumed their travels to Olympus Mons.
