Spotlight: Moonheart

Summery:

In the Volcanic wastes of Venus, a group of Decepticons consisting of Moonheart, Soundwave, Bonecrusher and Grindor were exploring the planet, having detected a weird Energy signature on the planet, Megatron as sent a small group in oder to investigate it, with Soundwave deciding to lead this Taskforce personally.

Soundwave ordered the group to split up, with Moonheart staying with Soundwave whilst Soundwave sent Bonecrusher and Grindor to explore the area. As they began to search the area, Moonheart began to realise how inhospitable Venus was, as some local Volcanoes started to erupt.

As the couple traveled though the area, Moonheart realised that their was Native life on Venus as she saw a Venusian town nearby. Moonheart questioned how could organic life survive on this planet, given how inhospitable it is.

As they reached a much more stable area of Venus, Soundwave asked if Moonheart was willing to undergo a long term mission for the Decepticon cause, when Moonheart asked what that was, Sounwave explained that she wants him to become a spy.

Taken aback by this, Moonheart asked for some elaboration on what Soundwave meant by that. Soundwave explained that Megatron was thinking of sending someone to pretend to be a defector to the Autobots, and that Soundwave thinks she would be excellent spy.

Moonheart was unsure of this, as she didn't like her time being a spy within Megaempress forces, and preferred to stay in her role as a Medic. Soundwave said he didn't want to pressure her into taking this role, and that he is fine if she flat out refuses.

After some thinking, Moonheart decided to take on this long term mission and become a Spy once again. Grindor then called in, saying that their something that the both of them should see, leading to the both of them to go where Grindor was.

At Grindor location, Moonheart looked to see a bright lavaflow as Volcanoes violently erupted in the distance, as well as some sort of red crystal that resembled Rubies. Grindor explained that theses seems to be a pocket of Energy rubies, and that the explosion was caused by a destruction of a vein by lava flows.

Satisfied that the nature of the energy signature was discovered, as well as a source of Energy they could use, Soundwave said they should go back to the Nemesis and tell Megatron of his findings, as he would be pleased that a new energy source has been found, as they left the planet via a space Bridge, Moonheart could only think of the new mission she just accepted.

A few days has passed, and Moonheart was at Megatron cloning facility, having been celebrating Flowspade birthday their when a perimeter alert indicated that the Autobots were about to attack, with Megatron ordering them to

As they prepared for battle, Moonheart noticed that her friend Flowspade had a sad look to her face and asked what wrong, Flowspade said that she has been having some doubts on the Decepticon cause, and that she doesn't want to fight for Megatron any longer.

Whilst Moonheart was both loyal to the Decepticon cause, and love her friend to the point she didn't really care she would leave. Moonheart knew this was a great opportunity to infiltrate the Autobots, and thus despite not wanting to lie to Flowspade, she did.

As she expresses to Flowspade that she doesn't want to be a Decepticon either anymore with Flowspade said she'll help her leave the Decepticons together...

Notes:

Spotlight Moonhearts retcons Moonheart defection to the Autobots to being a infiltration mission by Soundwave, it also re-contextualise some stuff from Spotlight Flowspade.

Unlike in IRL, Suleforger Continuity Venus has life, with it being home to the Venusian species.
