Wrath of the Opticlones
In the outskirts of Tarn, Optimus Prime and Elita-1 were leading a battle against Decepticon forces, leading a taskforce of Autotrooper, Autobot Vehicons and Autobot Heavy Soldiers as they tried to capture a Decepticon base.
As they fought through the various Decepticon Vehicons and Leapers that came across their way, Optimus and Elita 1 eventually got separated from one another, with the waves of Decepticons having spitted them up.
Meanhwhile in Kaon, Megatron was watching the development, despite wanting to defeat Optimus Prime himself, he was to far away to fight him directly, however said situation gave Megatron the opportunity to test out his latest weapon.
Contacting C-X, Megatron ordered him to take the Opticlones and go and defeat Optimus. Having waited for this order for a long time, C-X joyfully said he will get this done, as he prepared the Opticlones for their next attack.
Meanwhile Elita 1 was fighting off some Decepticon Vehicons when she was ambushed by a group of seekers consisting of Redwing, Hotbox, Photonstorm, Spacescar and Variblestar, with the Seekers planning to capture her.
Meanwhile as Optimus closed in on the Decepticon base, C-X tried to shoot Optimus in the head as he, Astrotanker, Bloodbath, Nightshot and several other Opticlones ambushed him. Much to their shock, Optimus Prime easily dodged C-X and their attacks and proceeded to battle them.
Despite being clones of Optimus, Optimus was still significantly stronger and had more combat experience then the Opticlones, allowing him to easily dominate the fight as tens of Opticlones rushed towards him.
At the same time this was happening, Elita 1 was fighting off the Seekers that attacked her, alongside any Vehicon or Leaper that tried to fight her, Redwing tried tackle her, only for Elita 1 to use the opportunity to punch her in the head, knocking her to the ground in the process.
At the same time this happened, Chromia, Firestar, Moonracer, Greenlight and Lancer arrived alongside more Autobot Heavy soldieres. Seeing that they were no matched for the combined Autobot force, Redwing and co tried to retreat.
Whilst the other Seekers maaged to escape, Redwing wasn’t so Luckly as she was shot down by Chroma and Moonracer, As Lancer and Greenlight went to capture her, Elita 1 realised she lost track of Optimus.
Meanwhile, Optimus was getting tired of fighting off all the Opticlones, having to use the Pax effect to keep up his energy level. C-X said that Optimus should give up, as he couldn’t keep fighting clones of himself forever.
As C-X said that, C-X felt a gun behind his back as a group of Opticlones lead by Astrotanker. Due to spending a decent amout of time with Optimus during the fight has caused many Opticlones to gain the memories of the original, leading many to abandon the Decepticon cause as they decided to ally with Optimus instead.
C-X was shocked by Astrotanker and co betrayal, and aske why he would betray the Decepticons. Astrotaker explained that gaining Optimus Prime memories has made them realise why the Autobots were fighting against Megatron and his tyranny, and that they decided that they to will help Optimus in defeating Megatron.
Before C-X and those Opticlones that didn’t go traitor could punish the traitors, Elita-1 and co arrived alongside the rest of the Autobot taskforce they were leading, seeing that they were outnumbered, C-X told his men to retreat.
Astrotanker and the other Opticlones apologised to Optimus for attacking him, and asked if they could join the Autobots in order to make up for it. Optimus said their no need to redeem themselves for attacking him and that he was more than happy to accept them into the Autobot ranks.
Elita 1 then arrived, and proceeded to hug Optimus, and asked him if he was ok, before Optimus could answer she realised the presence of the Opticlones, and asked who they were and why did they looked like Optimus.
Astrotanker said it was a long story, but they were more then willing to explain their origins. As Astrotanker explained the origins of the Opticlones, C-X reported his most recent battle to Megatron, and told him about the betrayal of Astrotanker and co.
Megatron was beyond furious, for not only his plan of Defeating Optimus with a clone army of himself failed, but many of his Opticlones defected to the Autobots, He ordered C-X and co to go back to Decepticon HQ in Kaon, before ending the call.
As C-X and co left for Kaon, All that C-X could think about was Astrotanker betrayal . Mad that so many of his fellow clones betrayed him and the Decepticons, C-X vowed to destroy all of them for revenge, and that he’ll make sure Astrotanker suffered the most for his betrayal.
