Spotlight Octus
Summery:
On one of Szoiria’s moons, Octus and his expedition team of Malignus were on an archaeological dig alongside archaeologists from the Vestial imperium. While Octus once visited this place when the Szorians were still in power, it didn’t stop him from coming here again.
Octus was speaking to Horus(Zod Axl-Nyx), a Vestial imperium peacekeeper who decided to visit the site. As he explained about what the site had to offer, they were interrupted when both Redstar and Morsa uncovered the fossilised remains of some creature.
It was the remains of a Szorian swamp tail, probably introduced into the environment eons earlier. While both Horus and Octus congratulated them on the find, Octus did remind them their focus are more towards Szorian artefacts rather than Szorian animals.
By that time of the day it was lunchtime, and Octus and his crew decided to have their weekly meal. Octus talked to his old friend Abdominus about when they first went to Szoria eons ago during the guardian period. While Redstar and Morsa gossiped about random things.
After their Lunchbreak they all went back to the dig, Octus went to the old building complex where most of the Vestialuxus were digging, he greeted Steve, who was also working on the site. Steve reported to Octus that they recently found a Doorway.
Octus went to this Doorway, as he examined it he reasoned that this was one of the vaults the Szorians used to keep important artefacts in. After assessing to see if the door still functioned. He used is knowledge of Szorian technology to open the prehistoric door.
When the door opened, Octus some other of the Archaeologists went into the room behind it. Octus noticed at the centre of the room was a warren pillar, an early form of FTLT that used the warren. Steve with Octus permission took the key out of the room to show to the rest of the archaeologists.
By the time the rest of his team came, everybody was stunned by the great find as Octus put the warren pillar on one of the archaeology tables. However as everybody admired the find the pillar was stolen by a use of a miniature tractor beam, taken the pillar far away from the group.
The perpetrator was the Bounty hunter known as death head, who was riding his jetski. He quickly turned to get away with the Warren Pillar and the flightworthy Malignus pursued him. While Redstar and Morsa started firing shots at him, Octus stopped them fearing they might damage the artefact.
Despite the fact he was being chased by three flying Cybertronians, Death head wasn’t fazed and deployed some drones to deal with them. As the Malignus fought them off. Death head ever closer got to his ship, where he then can escape.
However he was shot down by an unknown being, as he jumped off his jetski. He was met with his old rival Horus(Zod Axl-Nyx). As the others Malignus caught up to him. Death head used is Orbital jump to escape to his ship.
He then fired up his ship’s engine and flew away. Octus was disappointed that such a valuable find was stolen right Infront of him. But Horus assured him that he will track down death head and make him give up the pillar, which would the be put into a Museum.
Later, Octus was watching the sunset next to his ship, accompanied by Steve and Redstar. Octus noted to himself that it wasen’t as good as the sunsets during the Guardian era, but he kept his mouth shut as he noticed his two friends enjoying the Sunset.
Meanwhile in space Death head was trying to get the Warren pillar to be sold to Brinn online. After showing it to the Quintesson Brinn was impressed by the rare find. After some more convincing he manage to get it sold for some Quintesson weapons, contempt he set course to drop of the artefact.

Notes:
It seems that Szoria has three moons, as the cover depicts two barren moons but in the story takes place on a life filled moon.
It also seems that Octus group of Malignus are working with the Vestial imperium, and considering how calm they are with each other they're volunteers as well.
