Mystery of Mainframe

Summery:

On a recently restored Cybertron, Wheeljack was doing maintenance on the Ark’s computers, Ironhide asked what he was doing, and Wheeljack said he needed to check the condition of the many processes of Teletraan 1.

Both the Autobots Sonic and Skyfire came to the room, having being exploring the ship ever since I got back to Cybertron. Wheeljack was about to open up one of the Processor chambers when Sonic made a discovery of sorts.

Previously using her super speed to explore the room, she founded what she thinks is another Processor on the other side of the room. When Wheeljack investigated, he found what he believed to be a secret compartment of sorts.

When he opened the door, an unidentified processor came out, Usually these things no longer spooked Wheeljack, but he found it curious when his scanners indicated it was a living Cybertronian. Wheeljack started tinkering with it, where it’s true nature was revealed.

Said processor transformed into a Cybertronian of his own, Said being was confused as to where he was and Wheeljack got him to sit down while Sonic got a drink for him. After a few moments of coming to terms with his surroundings, the bot introduced himself as Mainframe.

Mainframe explained that he was stationed on this ship as a computer technician and has acted as a processor for the Ark. Realising that this bot could have been dormant in said state since the Guardian-Malignus war, he asked what prime he thinks is in charge.

Despite what he was expecting, Mainframe said he thought Sentinel prime was in charge. Ironhide took the task of explaining him what happened since his last activation, and Mainframe was quite shocked for how long he has been in stasis for.

Mainframe was somewhat disappointed that he wasted so many years(around 195 million) dormant. Skyfire assured him that said year gap would be a blessing for him, and he could now go back into society without the larger scars of the great war of Cybertron.

Mainframe accepted that his time in stasis wasn’t completely bad. Before he could comment more several bots came rushing as Wheeljack was informed that there was a wild insecticons swarm coming near the Ark, said bots were Bugbite and Thrustinator.

Mainframe used teletraan 1 to scan to see if there was any bots outside, and identified one at the back at the ship, Before anybody could react sonic used her superspeed to get said bot, which turned out to be Slicer. Though grateful he didn’t like how Sonic prevented him from having a fun time killing the Insecticons.

Mainframe activated the shields, as well as anti-Insecticons emitters which chased of the critters away. Mainframe was actually quite pleased that he could witness quite a rare sight, but everybody else was just relieved that their alive after all of this.

Wheeljack noted he needed to get back to work on maintenance, and Mainframe offered to help him, which Wheeljack accepted. While the two bots worked on the processors, Ironhide wonder if there are more bots like Mainframe, who are just dormant on various ships across the commonwealth.
