Overlord Assault
Summery:
In a Guardian science facility in Kaon, Rusthead was giving a tour to Scrounge, who was visiting in order to see the progress for some scientific projects they were working on, with Rusthead currently taking Scrounge to their most promising project to date.
Rusthead and Scrounge then enter one of the many labs in the facility, where Rusthead began to explain their most promising piece of new technology, being that of the Matter Duplicator/Replicator, a device which uses other materials in order to make most known materials in existence.
She demonstrated the machine abilities by using it to replicated a Ruby crystal, before explaining that they hope in the future to mass produce this in order to make manufacturing more efficient to the point they hope they could make matter duplicators capable of creating complex objects such as Starships from scratch.
Extremely impressed by the promise of this project, Scrounge said he will defiantly be recommending this project to be fully invested to Guardian Prime and high command, which made Rustiest and the other scientists present burst in joy.
However their celebration was interrupted when alarms started going of, Sonicbomber then rushed in and said that a group of Malignus Groundsoldiers and other Malignus lead by Overlord was approaching the base, not wanting this new piece of technology to fall into the wrong hands, Scrounge ordered that the device to be transported to the main base whilst Scrounge and the others dealt with the Malignus.
Outside The Kaon science facility, Sky Garry, Trench, Greatsix, Nightstalker and some Guardian IAS Troopers were defending the place from Ferak, Nitro Zeus, Vex, Redstar, Morsa Grindcore and the Malingus Groundsoldires, with Overlord himself at the forefront of the attack.
Scrounge confronted Overlord with more forces and started engaging him in combat, telling Overlord he will make sure to defend the base to the very end. Finding Scrounge resistance amusing, Overlord mocked him as he promised that he'll get his hands on everything they were developing in said facility.
Meanewhile in the base, the Scientists were evacuating all sensitive equipment through the Spacebridge, with Matter duplicator being personally evacuated by Rusthead. However as she was moving quickly through the halls, an unknown bot crashed through the upper floor and blocked her path to the Spacebridge room.
Said person was Commander Blackjack, who Overlord has sent in order to personally steal the Matter Duplicator. However when they both of them saw each other, they forgot what they were doing as Blackjack and Rusthead instantly formed a crush with one another.
Mesmerised with each other, both of them started introducing themselves to one another as they forgot that they were in a combat zone, with the both of them only snapping out of it when a IAS Trooper used an Immobiliser to defeat and detain Blackjack.
Remembering the situation at hand, she proceeded to run back to the Spacebridge room, though at the same time, she was thinking about Blackjack, likewise Blackjack, whilst he was thinking about how he let the Matter duplicator get away, was currently thinking about Rusthead as the IAS trooper took him away.
Meanwhile outside, Overlord was overwhelming Scrounge in their fight as his forces continued to advance to the base. However as Overlord was about to kill Scrounge and arriving Cognive jumps in and hit Overlord so hard that he was sent flying.
At the same time, a large force of Guardian IAS troopers and other Guardians that Cognive was leading arrived and started engaging Overlord forces. Seeing that his forces would lose, he called for a retreat as Guardian forces quickly overwhelmed his forces.
Sometime later in the main Guardian base, Rusthead showed off the Matter Duplicator to Cognive, Sterofrost and other high ranking officials. Just like Scrounge they were also impressed by the device, and whilst Guardian Prime still needed to see it, they gave their approval for further funding for this project.
At the same time, Blackjack was being escorted to a holding cell, where he would be interrogated by Guardians. As he entered his cell, He wondered if he'll ever see Rusthead again, as well as wonder if Rusthead was wondering about him as well.

Notes:
The Matter Duplicator wasn’t our first pick for the object Rustdust Showcased, with Energon Z, and Energon Coverter, to even a Transwarp Drive being considered before setting on the Matter Duplicator
