The Final Functionist

Summery:

In a remote place on Galleon, Gary was amongst the various Decepticons who were storming a Functionist stronghold on the planet, after being discovered by Maroontiff during a scouting trip, Commander Chevron has sent a Taskforce lead by Rapidfire in order to deal with the Functionist.

Various Counciltroopers and Combat sentries engaged Decepticon forces as Gary, Roadtrap, Battleslash, Chromhorn Deergren and Torpor tried to make a breakthrough in order to storm the complex as the functionalists desperately tried to hold them back.

As they slowly got to one of the entrances, Kaskade took out one of the Combat Sentries using her sniper blaster, nearly hitting Deergren by mistake. As Deergren berated her over a comment link, Gary threw a detonator at the door, causing it to be blasted open and killing some functionalists along with it.

Gary group proceeded to venture into the Stronghold as they fought off Functionist forces, being joined up by Blueflag, Blight, Blip, Trackblast, Skycreeper, Skyjack, Cyberwarp, Trasher, Static, Siegegun and Warnado as they ever went deeper into the Stronghold.

As the Stronghold passageways became more and more forked, the Group of Decepticons inadvertently spit up to cover more ground as eventually Gary was only with Blueflag and Torpor as they stumbled upon a sealed doorway.

After breaking down the door, they found themselves in a storage area that contained various blank Protoforms, and in the centre was a Functionist who was attending to them, noticing that the Decepticons have arrived, turned around and pointed his weapons at Gary and co.

As they pointed their weapons at each other, Gary questioned the Functionist on why they stockpiled so many protoforms. Revealing that his name was Technimus, he explained that this was a Cold Construction facility in which he and other Functionalists hope to slowly grow an army in order to one day retake Cybertron from the Decepticons.

Before either party could do anything, Technimus was shot with a EMP stunblaster as Rapidfire, Omnibus, Maroontiff Terri-Bull and Horri-Bull stormed into the Storage area alongside the rest of the Decepticons as the facility was fully in Decepticon control.

Sometime later, Chevron and Killswich arrived at the facility as the unconscious Techminus and any other Functionalists were taken away. As Chevron and Rapidfire talked, Gary was boarding a ATTT when he was stopped by Killswich.

Confused on why he was being stopped, Killswich explained that Decepticon high command has found Gary service record to be quite admirable, that's why he's going to be promoted to a Sargent and sent to command some forces on Dross.

Gary was quite shocked by this, as never in a million years did he though he was good enough to be promoted. Killswitch said he has a long fight ahead of him once that he was on Dross, but until then he had to go back to Decepticon HQ to receive his promotion.

And Thus Killswitch and Gary went to Killswitch personal ship, as they headed to Decepticon HQ where Gary will be promoted to Sargent before he's sent off to fight in the Dross Campaign.
